TJX UK PO Prefix 50
The mandatory documents for each PO are the INVOICE and the PACKING LIST.

Make sure that your invoice is compliant with the below checklist:

STATEMENT ON ORIGIN: If the goods are of EU preferential origin, the Statement on Origin would be needed, as follow:
The exporter of the products covered by this document declares that, except where otherwise clearly indicated, these products are of EU preferential origin
Moreover, if the total invoice value of the PO is more than 6000 Euros, your REX number must also be noted. The REX system provides a more favorable rate of duty and is a self-certification system whereby an exporter declares itself to be authorized within European borders. It is obtained by applying to the competent territorial office (Customs). If you don’t have it, please contact your TJX Buyer through email putting Doc Compliance team in the copy (doc.compliance@alpiworld.com).

ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS
Vendors also needs to provide HAZARDUS MATERIAL DOCUMENT, CONTROLLED GOODS DOCUMENT, CITES, FOOD DETAILED CHECKLIST, FOOTWEAR CLASSIFICATION SHEET if the PO is marked as Hazmat, CG, Cites, Food, Footwear.
Food Detail Checklist: it must be uploaded when the goods concern food & beverage (you can download the TJX template at the bottom of this page).
Footwear Classification Sheet: it must be uploaded when the goods concern footwear (you can download the TJX template at the bottom of this page).
Hazardous document: it must be uploaded when the goods are flammable.
CITES: it must be uploaded when the goods are made of endangered animal skin.
Controlled Goods document: it must be uploaded when the products are made in plastic, in China and could be in contact with the mouth/ the food. (you can download the TJX template at the bottom of this page)
Custom Miscellaneous document: any kind of additional document not mentioned before (ex. the document of the declaration of free export). It can be used to implement certain missing data, such as article description in total and packaging recap, that can’t be put in the invoice and/or packing list. Please note that you must ask Doc Compliance team before uploading it.
MATERIAL COMPOSITION AND DESCRIPTION:
The material composition and description of the goods has to follow the TJX guidelines, see below:

- Material information is generally not required (an important exception is for Lamps, where it is)
- For clocks, we must know the type e.g. wall clock, alarm clock etc.
COSMETICS & BEAUTY
WHAT IS IT? E.G. MASCARA, LIPSTICK, SHAMPOO, LIQUID SOAP, HAND CREAM
FOR THE FOLLOWING ITEMS, MATERIAL INFORMATION IS NOT REQUIRED UNLESS SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED,
but please provide ingredients details if possible: makeup, manicure/pedicure preparations, shampoo/hair products, shaving products, bath bombs/salts, room deoderisers, skincare products, essential oils
FURNITURE
WHAT IS IT? E.G. SOFA, COFFEE TABLE, CABINET
MATERIAL COMPOSITION INCLUDING % BREAKDOWN IF MULTIPLE MATERIALS
For chairs, sofas and the like, we must know whether they are upholstered or not.
Materials must distinguish for different parts e.g COFFEE TABLE WITH METAL FRAME, WOODEN TOP
OTHER NOTES
- 1) For any items which fall outside of the above categories, 'What is it?' and 'material composition' information is still required
- 2) For 'LEATHER' items, the type of leather must be noted e.g. Bovine, Sheepskin
- 3) For 'WATCHES', the material of the strap must be noted
- 4) For 'SETS' of items which are not put together to meet a particular purpose or need, a price breakdown for each element of the set must be noted.
